Our red wines are a perfect blend of flavours, aromas and traditions.
Produced from our hillside grapes, they fully capture the characteristics of the spectacular land where our winery is born, and in this article we will explore our red wines in more detail.
As we have already mentioned, we at the Le Pignole di Boracchi Serena winery carefully and attentively produce every one of our wines, taking charge firsthand of all the steps, which range from the manual harvesting of the grapes to the bottling.
Amatio
Our Amatio is a still rosé wine made from white- vinified Tai Rosso grapes.
This wine has the particularity of being characterised by a taste lively and has a pleasant acidity and a fresh herbaceous aftertaste.
The aroma highlights a perfume pleasant and fruity.
How to style it?
It is ideal to accompany aperitifs and throughout the meal.
Creorosso
The Creorosso, on the other hand, is a still wine made from Tai Rosso grapes.
It has a broad and enveloping taste, soft and velvety thanks to sweet tannins. It is characterised by good aromatic persistence.
On the nose, it reveals a bouquet with notes of redcurrant, raspberries, cherry, liquorice and black pepper, supported by a slight herbaceous vein.
How to style it?
It is ideal with roasts, fine poultry, stewed rabbit and surprisingly with Vicenza-style salt cod.
Roàn
Last, but not least, we want to introduce you to our Roan
The Roan is a red wine made from Cabernet Franc and Malbec grapes.
Its taste is fresh with a medium and rounded body.
Its aroma highlights fruity notes like cherry and strawberry and spices such as pepper.
How to style it?
It is ideal throughout the meal, and exhilarating with cured meats.
